€35 a month lets a child who has lost their parents go to school – with boarding, meals, a uniform and medical care.

We enclose and protect springs so that families in Butiru have clean drinking water.

Homes for widows
We build weatherproof houses for widows and families who cannot afford a safe home.
Education
Starter kits for pupils
A one-off €60 gives a child a uniform, bedding, a box for their things and hygiene items – without these, they can't start school.
Livelihoods
Goats for grandmothers
Many grandmothers raise their grandchildren alone. A goat provides milk, kids and a small income.
From Hankensbüttel to Butiru, Uganda
Together we give hope and shape the future.
For around 25 years, our volunteer circle of friends in Germany and our team in Butiru have helped children go to school, families reach clean water and widows build safe homes.
